This one covered the whole property. The Clermont homeowner had palms out front, along the side walkway, near the pool, and around back, and all of them had gone a season too long. Brown fronds were hanging. Seed pods were dropping onto the deck and the pool cage. Champs Dumpster Rental and Junk Removal came out to trim every one of them and clear the debris in the same visit.
Clermont sits up in the rolling hills of Lake County, and homes here often have palms tucked into tight spots, between the walkway and the fence or right at the edge of the pool. Those spots take care. Our palm and tree pruning crew worked off a ladder where the reach was tricky, pulled the dead fronds and pods off each tree, and shaped the crowns so the palms look balanced instead of scalped. Working palms next to a screen enclosure is its own skill. One falling frond can tear a pool cage panel, and screen is not cheap to replace. So the crew roped and lowered the cuttings near the pool rather than letting them drop, kept the deck clear as they went, and blew it down before packing up. The palms along the walkway got the same care, since a frond dragged over pavers can scuff them. None of that shows up in a before-and-after photo. Because this job wrapped around the entire property, the photos tell it better than words. You can see the driveway and front yard before the crew started, with the palms heavy and overdue, then the same spots cleaned up and balanced. The shots near the pool and along the side walkway show the tightest work, where a ladder and careful cuts kept fronds out of the water and off the cage. Around back, the before and after on the ladder palms shows how much dead growth came off. Running through all of it is the dumpster, filling up as the trees came down, which is what let one crew finish the trim and the haul in a single afternoon. It is a lot of ground to cover in one visit, and getting it done in a day only works when the cleanup keeps pace with the cutting.
